The Slipcover Specialist
Slipcovers fall within two categories: Custom-made or ready-made. Here at the slipcover Specialist we offer true custom-made covers with two distinctive styles(fit) - the upholstered-look or the loose fit.
Upholstered Look (This is NOT your grandma's slipcover)

We will custom fit a slipcover to the furniture that will look very similar to re-upholstered furniture or new furniture. We do this by pin-fitting the slipcover material directly onto the furniture. Great attention to detail is given here to follow the contour of the furniture, whenever possible, and to cut the material snug against the piece.
With the upholstered-look, the type of furniture and the fabric selected for the slipcover is critical. For example: furniture with loose back cushions or a tight back (flat) works best with this type of look. Any piece with attached cushions may not make up as well. See "detaching the back cushion" on the cushion page. to see if this is an option for the furniture.

So given the right furniture and fabric, we can create a slipcover that will fool most people into thinking the furniture is newly bought or re-upholstered.
Loose fit

With this type of fit, the slipcover is made basically the same way as the upholstered-look with one very important difference. The slipcover is made looser, or bigger. Although it is made to fit the same contours of the furniture, it will have more "breathing room" for a relaxed and informal look. Here, there is no attempt at hiding the fact that it is a slipcover.
Shabby-sheik

The shabby sheik style slipcover is an even looser fit by design. Perfect for a beach house or anyone looking for a casual look to a room because it should look crumpled, or "lived in". Washable slipcover fabrics are best.
